SSR is looking for a Building Optimization/ Sustainability & Cx Intern to assist engineering staff in the execution of technical activities on assigned projects, learn the discipline's technical policies and procedures, and participate in technical studies, investigations, and designs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline
- Incumbent must be able to operate a computer to check email and to produce documents using a software program
- Incumbent shall be able to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect work done by contractors
- Manipulates plans periodically
- Must be able to lift plans weighting 30 pounds
Responsibilities
- Assists the engineering staff in the execution of the technical activities required on assigned projects
- Begins to learn the discipline technical policies and procedures
- Under supervision participates in technical studies, investigation and designs on assigned projects
- Assists the project team in the production of projects
- Demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline
- Incumbent must be able to operate a computer to check email and to produce documents using a software program
- Incumbent shall be able to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect work done by contractors
