Bowhead seeks a Software Integrator with CFE skills to join their team supporting NIWC Atlantic, analyzing complex technical support assignments and collaborating with various engineering and analysis teams in a scaled agile environment.
Requirements
- Experience in DevSecOps, software integration, and secure computing environments for collaboration across development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust and compliant solutions.
- Strong understanding of software integration methodologies, data exchange formats and messaging protocols.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
- Proficiency with scripting and automation
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization technologies.
- COMPTIA Sec + or higher certification
Responsibilities
- Supports the design, integration, and sustainment of secure software development environments.
- Builds and maintains standardized development frameworks that enable consistent software delivery across multiple mission-critical programs.
- Integrate software components, subsystems, and external interfaces into defense mission systems.
- Conduct software integration and validation testing to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed integration documentation, including interface control documents (ICDs), configuration baselines, and version tracking.
- Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for secure software delivery.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement software fixes or enhancements.
Other
- Must currently hold a Secret clearance.
- Must be able to lift, move, and position equipment in both indoor and outdoor environments, including on uneven or natural surfaces.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lean, crouch, twist, bend, and squat as needed to inspect or analyze network infrastructure.
- Must be able to work outdoors in deployed environments and perform duties in adverse weather conditions, including cold, rain, snow, and heat.
