CSX is seeking future business leaders to help foster growth, efficiency and innovation within its Operations, specifically within the Positive Train Control (PTC) team. The internship aims to provide real-world experience to candidates while allowing CSX to recruit top talent.
Requirements
- Experience with programming languages, such as Python or Java
- Microsoft Office skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PTC teams to prepare and organize submissions to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
- Assist PTC teams with compiling and analyzing PTC performance data
- Identify trends, issues, or anomalies in PTC reporting data for management review
- Research and summarize FRA regulations, guidance and industry standards affecting PTC
- Collaborate with PTC teams on the development of recurring reports
Other
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Candidate must be an undergraduate enrolled at an accredited college or university who is in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, business administration, information technology, or law.
- Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4-point scale)
- Anticipated graduation within a year after the end of the internship
- Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.5 (based on a 4-point scale)
