Prince George's County Office of Procurement is seeking to fill a Community Developer I/II position to provide administrative support for its Supplier Development & Diversity Division's outreach and training program, aiming to enlighten the business community about opportunities to do business with the County Government and promote equity.

Responsibilities
- Assist with Coordinating and execute a minimum of 6 supplier education and training sessions annually, conducted either virtually or in person at various locations.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of the annual OOP Summit, including supporting the planning committee with agenda development, speaker coordination, and session logistics.
- Build and maintain relationships with County agencies to support outreach initiatives, including hosting at least quarterly vendor outreach sessions, agency-specific industry days, and pre-bid conferences for upcoming solicitations.
- Coordinate weekly (or as frequently as necessary) with the PIO in the development of a supplier outreach and training communications strategy, including updates to the OOP website, electronic platforms, and OOP social media platforms including issuance of press releases.
- Track supplier outreach challenges and elevate reoccurring issues to the Executive Director and/or OOP Director providing a report a quarterly basis.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and managing the timely receipt of data from all participating County agencies.
- Assists the Mentor Protégé Program Manager in the execution of the program including coordinating program participant application reviews, communications with program participants, and logistics for at least two mentor protégé program training sessions each year including invitations, registration, tracking and post-event surveys, with an average attendance of at least 10 participants per event.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree with major course work in business or public administration, social service, sociology, psychology, or other fields
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be accepted
- Meet all training and performance standards and demonstrate proficiency as required by the agency.
- Wear and use agency protective apparel and equipment in the performance of their assigned duties, if applicable.
- Successfully pass preemployment checks which may include reference checks, background investigations, and drug screenings, where applicable.
