Santander is looking for a Senior Analyst to perform risk-based data mining and analysis within their designated business area to identify trends and provide actionable solutions.
Requirements
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of data analysis, data presentation, and data development.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Excel, Access, SAAS).
- Strong knowledge of statistical applications within Financial Services to interpret data requests and identify data analytics opportunities.
- Experience developing and optimizing Power Bi dashboards, SQL and working with Snowflake for data modeling.
- Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Performs data mining and analytics for designated business area.
- Ensures efficient and effective system implementation and integration across designated business area.
- Prepares monthly dashboard reports, identifying trends and presenting thoughtful, actionable solutions to senior consultants for implementation.
- Builds and maintains sustainable relationships with key business and IT stakeholders.
- Participates in phases of the development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Designs scalable workflows and tools to automate processes for assigned business unit.
- Provides feedback to development team on usability of software.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Statistics or equivalent quantitative field. - Required.
