SEAKR is looking to ensure that its supply chain consistently provides high-quality, reliable components for aerospace applications.

Requirements

  • Familiar with discreet component assembly manufacturing and cleanroom/lab environment and requirements.
  • Familiar with EEE parts testing (e.g., screening, qualification, DPA, re-life, etc.), failure analysis, and non-conformance resolution.
  • Minimum of 5 or more years of experience in product assurance and quality systems with exposure to ISO9001/AS9100.
  • Technical aptitude with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation such as drawing dimensions and mechanical/electronic inspection methods/reports
  • General knowledge of Military Performance Specifications and/or component level requirements (e.g., MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-1580, MIL-PRF-123, MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-PRF-55342, MIL-PRF-55365, EEE-INST-002, PEM-INST-001, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement, program management, manufacturing, and engineering with all supplier quality related activities related to discreet EEE components.
  • Perform local quality system evaluations of new and ongoing suppliers.
  • Perform onsite supplier surveillance during fabrication of flight articles to assure compliance with requirements.
  • Draft and maintain electronic records of supplier surveillance and evaluation reports in a timely manner.
  • Create/maintain supplier approval rating and records, including survey records and Quality Management Systems (QMS) certifications, in SEAKR’s ERP system.
  • Perform a review and approval of purchase orders of flight hardware.
  • Analyze supplier defect trends and lead continuous improvement projects.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable Engineering/technical field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Able to travel (<25% typical, up to 75% of time per month) to perform supplier surveys, audits, assessments, and inspections.
  • Strong communication skills to interface effectively with external suppliers on quality and quality control issues.
  • Ability to successfully operate as part of a multi-functional team, including engineering, program management, supply chain, and manufacturing.
  • Effective time management and skillfulness at task prioritization.
