Link Solutions is seeking a Computer Scientist to join their team to apply advanced computer science principles to design, develop, and implement distributed systems and software solutions that directly support the Army’s research, development, operational, and cybersecurity objectives for the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC).
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and tools for data wrangling, visualization, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of RMF, JSIG, and system lifecycle security integration.
- Five (5+) years of experience in software development.
- Ten (10+) years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and efficient software systems tailored to Army mission requirements.
- Deploy distributed computing solutions that enhance DEVCOM’s capabilities in chemical and biological defense.
- Create innovative solutions utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
- Analyze organizational problems and design solutions to resolve them.
- Integrate developed applications with cloud platforms to increase efficiency and utilization of resources.
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot existing applications, computer systems, and networks.
- Ensure all systems meet stringent cybersecurity standards and performance benchmarks.
