KBR's MAGS division needs to develop models and simulations of defense systems, optimize software efficiency, and analyze results to enhance national security through innovative, technology-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Programming experience in Python and C/C++ is highly preferred.
- Experience with GIT, Gitlab, or DevOps (or similar) required.
- Linux and Windows software development environments experience.
- Experience with missile defense systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in physics-based models and simulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop software in conjunction with engineering team to simulate defensive systems.
- Use configuration management tools such as GIT, Gitlab, or DevOps as part of the software development process.
- Use Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD), DEVSECOPs, and Agile processes to meet development goals.
- Develop containers for software deployments.
- Assist in simulation framework activities including development of APIs.
- Perform software testing.
