SNC is looking for interns to contribute to real-world assignments in aerospace and defense, gaining experience and potentially securing full-time positions upon graduation. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area specifically provides solutions for command/control, communications, ISR, force protection, and security.
Requirements
- Computer programming skills, preferably C, C++, Python, and/or Matlab
- Understanding of Electronics, Computer Systems, and/or Embedded Systems
Responsibilities
- Support software and hardware development
- Support test and validation
- Operate RF Lab equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, temperature chamber, etc.
- Contribute to internal research and development projects
- Collaborate with full-time engineers on real projects for external customers
Other
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Strong technical communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid (in-person + remote) team environments
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Previous Co/op, internship experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
