The business problem is to support the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber, and to provide affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide.
Requirements
- Computer programming skills, preferably C, C++, Python, and/or Matlab
- Strong technical communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid (in-person + remote) team environments
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Understanding of Electronics, Computer Systems, and/or Embedded Systems
- Previous Co/op, internship experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with full-time engineers on real projects for external customers
- Support software and hardware development
- Support test and validation
- Operate RF Lab equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, temperature chamber, etc.
- Contribute to internal research and development projects
- Interact with customers occasionally during on-site meetings
- Explore career interests and possibilities with mentor(s)
Other
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
