SNC's Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area needs to provide affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. This involves supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with engineering and full lifecycle management across various domains. The internship program aims to develop future talent by providing hands-on experience with real-world projects and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Computer programming skills, preferably C, C++, Python, and/or Matlab
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid (in-person + remote) team environments
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Understanding of Electronics, Computer Systems, and/or Embedded Systems
  • Previous Co/op, internship experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with full-time engineers on real projects for external customers
  • Support software and hardware development
  • Support test and validation
  • Operate RF Lab equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, temperature chamber, etc.
  • Contribute to internal research and development projects
  • Interact with customers occasionally during on-site meetings
  • Absorb and learn from your team and apply that learning to projects assigned

Other

  • Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
