Anduril Industries is looking to solve challenging computer vision problems arising in calibration of soldier-borne visual augmentation devices and provide geometric characterizations of cameras, sensors, and displays necessary for sensing and interpreting environmental data.
Requirements
- Ability to code in C++ and Python.
- Understanding of fundamental computer vision concepts, e.g., camera projection, image distortion, rigid transformations, and constraints involving two or more views.
- Prior exposure to geometric computer vision (SLAM, Camera Calibration, Stereo Vision, Photogrammetry, or similar) in academic or professional work.
- Experience with multi-camera systems, camera calibration techniques and tools.
- Experience with mathematical packages in C++ and Python (e.g., Ceres, Eigen, NumPy, SciPy).
- Familiarity with numeric computing platforms such as MATLAB, Octave, or Jupyter.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing calibration and tracking/localization algorithms using standard computer vision techniques such as bundle adjustment, feature detection and matching, pose computation, and homography fitting.
- Creating testing and evaluation frameworks for advanced geometric solutions, designing experiments, analyzing experimental and production data.
- Developing manufacturing workflows in collaboration with mechanical engineering and manufacturing teams.
Other
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
- BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.
- MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
