Apple is looking to develop novel groundbreaking methods within differentiable rendering (NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, etc.), generative models, and many other areas of computer vision and machine learning to craft accurate and hyper-realistic 3D experiences at a global scale for Apple Maps.
Requirements
- Strong background in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
- Significant experience in researching and developing innovative approaches within Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
- Solid programming skills.
- Solid experience with deep learning frameworks and infrastructure.
- Experience with modern differentiable rendering methods, such as NeRF, Gaussian Splatting etc., is appreciated.
- Experience with diffusion models or similar is appreciated.
- Knowledge of computer graphics fundamentals is appreciated.
Responsibilities
- help developing novel groundbreaking methods within differentiable rendering (NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, etc.), generative models, and many other areas of computer vision and machine learning
- working on ground breaking technology by researching and developing new methods and algorithms deployed on a global scale
- working on extremely large data sets of different modalities, collected by various moving platforms, including aerial, satellite, and ground
- tackling and solving new real-world problems
- developing new innovative technology
Other
- Masters degree Computer Vision / Machine Learning / AI / computer science / Electrical Engineering or related field + 2 years experience
- PhD degree in Computer Vision / Machine Learning / AI / Computer science / Electrical Engineering or related field
- Published papers in top-tier CV/ML conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, Siggraph, etc.).
- Solid Python skills.
- Some experience with C/C++.
