Requirements
- Expertise in Python, C++, and GoLang
- Expertise with data manipulation, database design and management, and associated tools like SQL
- Expertise with OpenCV and home-rolled systems
- Experience with Linux and AWS administration and familiarity with basic networking concepts
- 1 or more years of experience working with computer vision algorithms
- 4 or more years of professional software engineering/data engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Adapt the existing Roca Robotics recognition software to recognize new trading card games and different types of cards
- Develop and maintain efficient ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes to ensure seamless extraction, transformation, and loading of card catalog data
- Play a key role in making improvements and troubleshooting recognition issues with the Roca Robotics card recognition software
- Import new sources of card data to be used for sorting
- Improve sorting algorithms and other features of the Roca Sorters
- Document processes, methodologies, and findings to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days per week in the Longmont, CO office
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must be willing to participate in an 'at-will position' with eBay
