Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking a Computer Vision Software Intern to develop computer vision based software components for use in larger systems and complete proof of concept project development and testing.
Requirements
- Excellent C++ and Python programming skills.
- Knowledge of TensorFlow or other machine learning platforms.
- Experience development algorithms for image processing using OpenCV.
- Fluency with Linux developed environments.
- Advanced research and prototyping experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms for recognition and identification using computer vision and other software development tools.
- Create proof of concept modules and systems to validate project and design decisions.
- Create and update technical documentation, test plans, and test results, analyze results and provide conclusive reports.
Other
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or equivalent degree program in related field of study.
- Demonstrated innovative problem solving and project implementation experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- hybrid schedule—collaborate in person at our Columbus, IN office and work remotely Thursdays and Fridays.
