The company is looking to fill a labor position to efficiently and safely complete general construction tasks as part of a patching crew.
Requirements
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Concrete finishing experience
- Ability to operate equipment and tools
- Ability to work with materials/supplies
- Ability to follow safety procedures and policies
- Ability to work from heights
- Ability to operate aerial work platforms
Responsibilities
- Completes general construction labor tasks necessary to finish/patch precast concrete panels
- Uses materials/supplies in an efficient manner
- Handles equipment in a responsible manner
- Follows established safety procedures and policies
- Works from heights, including but not limited to ladders and aerial work platforms
- Traverses uneven ground, moves minimum of 50lbs., and has spatial awareness/depth perception
- Climbs on a flatbed semi-trailer
Other
- Takes work direction from Patching Crew Foreperson
- May perform work of a miscellaneous nature as directed by foreperson
- Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions
- Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
- Ability to obtain membership to a local union
- Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
- Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
