The project aims to promote better solid waste management at a national level in Bolivia by generating more efficient and sustainable processes through various components, including updating an information system, including recyclers, establishing management models for open dumps, developing local waste management plans, and implementing pilot projects for waste management facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of work experience in the development, deployment, and maintenance of information systems and scalable web applications, with demonstrated expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- At least two (2) years of experience in software development project management, using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) or traditional approaches (Waterfall).
- Proven experience in server administration and infrastructure management using container technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Proficient in modern web and backend development frameworks such as React, Next.js, NestJS, and/or Django.
- Experience with commonly used libraries and UI toolkits such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Material UI (MUI), and/or Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of server administration and containerization technologies, specifically Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development User Interface (UI)
- Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize the structure and flow of the interface.
- Develop forms for data capture, such as registering new users, generating reports, etc.
- Collaboration with the other members of the team for an adequate articulation of the different results and components that make up the project.
- Provide high-level technical support when required, both by the counterpart and other members of the technical team.
- Permanent coordination with the members of the IT development team (back-end, front-end, QA).
- Carry out knowledge transfer processes (workshops and trainings) to the multiple stakeholders involved.
Other
- The work will be carried out by the external consultant using its own resources, delivering partial progress in the medium term to receive recommendations and feedback.
- Payment of your fees will be made upon delivery of partial and final products.
