Nationwide is looking to improve its technology solutions to support its customers and drive business results, and is seeking a Consultant, Technology Engineer to deliver standard and custom supportable technology products.
Requirements
- Experience with multiple technologies and within one or more domains
- Experience with automation of deployment of solution configurations
- Experience with solutions: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and package solutions
- Technology certifications or designation are not required, but encouraged (i.e., AWS, Azure, scripting and development languages, delivery methods, security)
- Strong knowledge of planning, management and execution of Accelerated Solutions Deliver framework
- Information Security acumen
- Experience with Informatica and Talend
Responsibilities
- Uplift NW BSA teams on modern ETL tooling for new build or legacy conversion efforts
- Lead learning dojos and act as ETL Development SME
- Monitor, track, and report all ETL development and delivery efforts within Nationwide for Informatica and Talend/Qlik
- Tech lead for Undraleu Code Quality application, lead its implementation and its product roadmap
- Drive and deliver the retirement of the Claims BSA CDI-PC hosted on AWS in 2025
- Contribute and present at Informatica and Talend User groups and Industry conferences
- Drive Engineering Excellence and Lead technical roadmap for ETL platforms
Other
- Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems or a related field is preferred
- Six years or more experience with the most complex integrated solutions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate and prioritize
- Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus
