CapTech is looking for undergraduate Juniors that are passionate problem solvers who strive to produce user-informed design solutions to complex business challenges, all while honing their craft and growing in their careers.
Requirements
- Project or internship experience utilizing tools, such as Figma, Adobe CC, and Axure is strongly desired, with working knowledge of Accessibility beet practices a plus
Responsibilities
- Contributing to and producing information architectures, task flows, wireframes, and prototypes that follow interaction design and usability best practices
- Creating or applying UI designs that enhance the overall user experience, aligning with visual design and accessibility best practices
- Leverage UX research methodologies and conduct usability testing to create informed, iterative design
- Creating clean, informative, and concise presentations to clients and internal teams that communicate the rationale behind your designs
- Consulting with clients and team members on the benefits of research-backed user experience and interaction design
- Keeping up with interaction design trends and applying them to your recommendations
- Researching and understanding technology trends

- Current undergraduates (or +1 masters candidates) with expected graduation dates in December 2026 - May 2027 who will be seeking full-time work after graduation
- Demonstrated an ability to be self motivated contributors in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Availability to work 40-hours/week in Richmond, Virginia from June 1 - August 7, 2026 (housing stipend provided for those living more than 50 miles from Richmond)
