LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking to solve difficult problems in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing, Identity Authentication & Verification, Fraud and Credit Risk mitigation and Customer Data Management by managing the backend infrastructure for online birth certificate ordering and ensuring stability and performance across platforms.
Requirements
- Expertise in software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), test-driven development, and architectural principles.
- Advanced skills in data modeling, manipulation, optimization, and proficiency with multiple data storage subsystems.
- Strong command of development languages including Java, JavaScript, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, .Net, and operating systems like Windows and UNIX.
- Proficiency with jBoss, Java, and SQL Server
- Experience with cloud migration
- Knowledge of data storage subsystems
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact for external partners and provide product design input.
- Collaborate with customers, end users, and technical teams to finalize requirements and resolve complex coding issues.
- Develop and review system specifications, fix bugs, and work with advanced data models.
- Mentor lead developers on methodologies and optimization techniques, and perform other assigned duties.
- Contribute to product design
- Collaborate closely with external tech partners
- Migrate applications to the cloud for improved scalability and efficiency
Other
- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced experience and degree preferred
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and project management skills across diverse teams and resource models (e.g., Managed Services, Staff Augmentation).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with internal and external technology teams to solve complex business challenges.
- Ability to provide sizing or budget recommendations to management
