LexisNexis Legal & Professional's Container Platform Engineering Team is seeking a senior technologist to evolve their next generation observability strategy and contribute to the development and architecture of the solution. This role aims to accelerate application and service deployment to container platforms, drive standards, maintain and upgrade systems, and build resilience and high availability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years designing and building large-scale, distributed platform or infrastructure systems in enterprise environments.
  • Experience in Go, Python, Java, C, or similar, focused on platform services, automation, and infrastructure tools.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Hands-on experience with Argo CD, Helm, and GitOps principles.
  • Excellent AWS skills and experience
  • 5+ years building and deployment applications and services to Kubernetes systems
  • Excellent operational experience with Kubernetes and solid understand of K8s operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Define best practices for K8s cluster deployment, scaling and management
  • Automate maintenance and upgrade tasks
  • Prototype and implement value added solutions to the K8s cluster
  • Define standards for application and service deployment using ArgoCD
  • Build and deploy observability and resilience solutions for core K8s and control plane systems
  • Build tools, libraries and applications to help simplify onboarding and operations for development teams
  • Build and deploy alerts, monitors, and dashboards in our primary observability platform
