General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is looking for a Continuous Improvement Intern to learn and practice Lean Six Sigma concepts and support Operations Analysis functions. This role will help with process improvements, data analysis, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in related Technical courses or be within 6 months of graduation
Responsibilities
- Assisting with 5S events and follow up actions
- Data entry linked to performance metrics
- Data analysis
- Corrective and/or preventative action projects
- Provides support to technical employees working in an organizational function related to the Intern's area of study.
- Assists with technical tasks and project support.
- Supports equipment set up and monitors tests and experiments.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
