Regal Rexnord is looking to drive operational excellence across its manufacturing sites by reducing lead times, improving efficiency, and enhancing collaboration through a summer internship program focused on continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute a problem-solving flow event, including SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) processes, to support lead time reduction across production work cells.
- Partner with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- Learn and apply Lean methodologies such as 6S, Visual Management, Standard Work, and Kanban to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Use Excel and other tools to analyze performance data, track progress, and present findings to stakeholders.
