Talkdesk is seeking an experienced Events Manager to support the planning and execution of their presence at industry events and sponsorships. The goal is to deliver high-impact tradeshow experiences that drive awareness, education, and customer engagement, while ensuring flawless execution and measurable ROI.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of post-pandemic experience managing events, with a strong focus on tradeshows, in a corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in event planning and execution, including vendor management, sponsorships, and speaker coordination.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent vendor negotiation skills with a focus on staying within budget.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated success in driving measurable pipeline impact through events.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of industry tradeshows and key sponsorships, ensuring alignment with business goals around awareness, pipeline generation, and customer engagement.
- Set up and lead weekly cross-functional planning meetings to align stakeholders, foster collaboration, and drive ongoing progress.
- Develop and manage integrated project management plans across multiple workstreams.
- Own exhibit design, layout, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and staffing coordination.
- Manage all logistics including travel, attendee approvals, presentations, communications, event promotion, food & beverage, and onsite requests.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to maximize pipeline impact and deliver qualified leads.
- Track, measure, and report on event performance and ROI, providing recommendations for optimization.

- Temporary contract position running from late October through February.
- Reporting to the VP, Global Events.
- Successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, often under tight timelines.
- Travel required for onsite event execution and vendor management.
