The Boeing Company is seeking a Controls and Robotics Engineer to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for robotic cells, controls systems, electrical cabinets and automated hardware systems to improve automated manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Experience with industrial controls, robotics, and process automation
- Experience with Power Distribution
- Experience with Industrial Sensors
- Experience with Industrial Motors
- Experience with Industrial Drive Trains
- Experience with PLC programming
- Experience with NC programming
Responsibilities
- Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for robotic cells, controls systems, electrical cabinets and automated hardware systems
- Support the design, build and commissioning of unique end effectors for automated manufacturing processes
- Perform engineering activities including development, integration and testing of automated hardware systems and/or software
- Influence, innovate and continuously improve automated engineering processes as well as the quality, safety and reliability of our products and services
- Collaborate proactively with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand operational and performance requirements
- Support agile project management, project estimation and planning
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn and work with new technologies
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- 2+ years of experience in controls, robotics, or automation engineering
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
