Carrier Global Corporation is looking to define and manage the lifecycle activities including portfolio planning, passport development engagement, and sustaining activities for the electronics controls and telematics strategy across the Carrier Transicold North America truck-trailer-APU product portfolio.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical experience in embedded systems, telematics, and/or hardware/firmware design.
- 2+ years of experience in a front-line business position in Sales, Marketing, or Applications.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing both short- and long-term product strategy initiatives
- Working with the program management team and marketing functions on new product introductions
- Interacting with cross functional groups (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales) to ensure initiatives meet schedule, cost and quality targets
- Engage with industry partners to ensure compatibility and provide necessary VOC to business unit leadership
- Benchmarking competitive solutions and providing competitive comparisons
- Engaging with marketing resources to develop effective sales and promotional materials
- Developing and executing effective customer focused messages and campaigns
Other
- Bachelor’s degree
- Position requires a minimum of 20% to 25% travel throughout the US and to Canada
- Proven record of leadership, strategic thinking, and project management with a business mindset, including the ability to grasp complex situations and extract key points and motives and effectively communicate and quickly act on them.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to professionally represent the company in both writing and in oral communications (media relations, presentations, sales training, management presentations, etc.)
