Magna is looking to develop industry-leading automotive technologies, specifically in the area of mechatronics, mirrors, and lighting, and needs a Controls Engineer Intern to help design, specify, program, simulate, and test turbomachinery control and electrical systems
Requirements
- PLC programming
- HMI programming
- Communication network design
- Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Some related experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and math skills
- Pursuing bachelor’s degree in an Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering curriculum
Responsibilities
- Control system design and programming
- Control panel design
- Development of Bill of Material (BOM)
- PLC programming
- HMI programming
- Communication network design
- System documentation and manual creation
