ProMach is looking for a Controls Engineer Intern to learn how automation and control systems power their packaging and processing solutions, contributing to meaningful projects while gaining experience in troubleshooting, PLC programming, and electrical systems.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with PLC concepts or automation coursework a plus
Responsibilities
- Learn to troubleshoot and test electrical and electronic systems
- Explore how electromechanical systems work together in real applications
- Gain exposure to various types of controls hardware and their integration into automation systems
- Learn the basics of PLC operation with opportunities for hands-on training
- Get introduced to Allen Bradley software (ControlLogix, RSLogix, RSLinx, PanelView)
Other
- Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong aptitude for learning and applying new technologies quickly
