JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is looking for a Summer 2026 Controls Engineering Intern in Ogden, UT to help deliver intelligent, automated manufacturing and distribution technology solutions.
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in CAD software
- Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic schematic drawing packages
- Introductory knowledge of programming languages
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits
- Wire systems in accordance with NEC standards
- Install piping and hoses to meet JR Automation and customer specifications
- Develop basic programming skills and apply them in live project environments
- Learn and grow through hands-on tasks and mentorship from experienced engineers
- Make meaningful contributions as you gain experience and confidence
Other
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program pursuing an engineering degree
- Successful completion of a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
