The credit union's IT-Core department needs to resolve open issues related to PowerOn scripts on the Core banking platform, improve application stability and performance, and manage risks in the production environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Follow-up on open issues and obtain resolutions in relation to PowerOn scripts on the Core banking platform.
  • Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve application issues
  • Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends by ways of code debugging or log analysis
  • Improve application stability and performance by observing patterns, recurring failures and/or issues, and advise application owners on permanent fixes accordingly
  • Identify patterns in code standards that can be improved for visibility, alerting and debugging,
  • Actively participate in Change management process with view to manage risk in production environment
  • Build and improve run books for generalists to minimize operational errors and gain fungibility/efficiency

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Members and other Team Members at the organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Must comply with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws and regulations, as they pertain to federal guidelines and internal policies and procedures.
