Trace3 is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to provide first-line leadership for the Core SE team and oversee team performance, maintain accurate progress metrics, and support staffing activities.
Requirements
- Strong System Engineering and Proven Leadership Experience
- Experience performing system engineering for large complex systems
- Experience with agile principles and the ability to work with different teams within an organization
- Familiarity with requirements analysis and decomposition, Interface definition, root cause analysis, application design, integration, and test
- Experience developing prototypes and performing experiments
- Modeling and simulation experience
- Experience with Command and Control or Missile Defense Agency
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line leadership for the Core SE team
- Oversee team performance, maintain accurate progress metrics, and support staffing activities
- Review deliverables and ensure quality standards are met
- Define and enforce Core SE team processes to drive consistency and efficiency
- Perform system engineering for large complex systems to include requirements analysis and decomposition, Interface definition, root cause analysis, application design, integration, and test
- Develop prototypes and perform experiments
- Modeling and simulation
Other
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Secret clearance required
- Ability to work on site and with teammates from multiple companies and in geographically diverse locations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working proposals, team building, developing and maintaining metrics, facilitating and providing training, and shaping a culture
