Trace3 is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to provide first-line leadership for the Core SE team and oversee team performance, maintain accurate progress metrics, and support staffing activities.
Requirements
- Strong System Engineering and Proven Leadership Experience
- Experience performing system engineering for large complex systems
- Experience with requirements analysis and decomposition, Interface definition, root cause analysis, application design, integration, and test
- Familiarity with agile principles
- Experience developing prototypes and performing experiments
- Modeling and simulation experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee team performance, maintain accurate progress metrics, and support staffing activities
- Define and enforce Core SE team processes to drive consistency and efficiency
- Review deliverables and ensure quality standards are met
- Provide mentorship in the discipline of System Engineers
- Develop and maintain metrics
- Facilitate and provide training
- Shape a culture
Other
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Secret clearance required
- Experience working on site and with teammates from multiple companies and in geographically diverse locations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with different teams within an organization
