Chemours is seeking a Corporate Accounting Intern to support the Corporate Controllership team in delivering Trusted Chemistry that creates better lives and helps communities thrive.
Requirements
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with One Stream EPM software and/or SAP ERP software
Familiarity with data analytics software (Power BI, etc.)
Responsibilities
Conducting accounting research regarding technical matters
Supporting ad hoc compliance and controls quality reviews and monitoring
Collecting and analyzing data associated with internal or external reporting including financial tie outs
Ad-hoc projects may include assisting with organizing data related to reporting, managing internal management representation tracking, assisting with SOX documentation, and preparing calculations to support various accounting analyses and entries.
Other
Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above at time of assignment
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3.2 GPA or above (preferred)
Previous internship or co-op experience in accounting or auditing (preferred)
