LKQ Corporation is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as interns to support business operations by performing a wide range of duties related to specific functions within the company.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
- Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records. May explain and offer guidance on routine procedures.
- No additional competencies required.
Responsibilities
- Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
- Prepare audit work papers for SOX reviews, entity level controls, operational audits, special projects, and IT general controls.
- Compile audit observations made during various reviews and assist in preparing reports for management.
- Create and update flowcharts for various business processes.
- Support the continual improvement of the Internal Audit Department organization, processes, and systems.
- Maintaining documentation and/or records.
- Providing ongoing support as needed.
Other
- Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
- Work on projects.
- Report/present findings to other team members and management as needed.
- Serve as a resource within the function/department.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
