KCI is seeking a motivated Cost Estimating Engineering Intern to assist in developing quantity take-offs and preliminary cost estimates for engineering and construction projects.

Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program
Responsibilities
Assist in developing quantity take-offs and preliminary cost estimates for engineering and construction projects
Support the review and analysis of drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed estimates
Help maintain cost databases, historical project information, and benchmarking data
Participate in bid preparation, proposal development, and subcontractor/vendor outreach
Assist in preparing project cost reports, summaries, and supporting documentation
Collaborate with team members to track project budgets and identify potential cost savings
Gain exposure to estimating tools, software, and methodologies used in the industry

This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.
3.0 GPA or higher
Valid Driver’s License
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
