Requirements

- SAP experience or ability to learn purchasing systems

- Knowledge of procurement software

- Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications regarding purchasing processes

- High level knowledge about Software/ technology

- Engineering background with Software purchasing experience is preferred

- Understand basic engineering documents

- Ability to objectively analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions
Responsibilities

- Determine viable suppliers for technology requirements
-
- Develop and manage supplier under the guidance of quality, service, technology, and price negotiations

- Utilize Global Purchasing and Supply Chain sourcing process to manage Sourcing packages
-
- Develop benchmarking for each sourcing package
-
- Experience handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance

- Negotiate price, terms, and other items to complete full contract package

- Manage annual renewal cadence and deadlines
Other

- 5+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, engineering, logistics or product development

- Ability to travel 10% of the time domestically + Internationally

- Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships
