Booz Allen’s Enterprise Organization Business Systems team is looking to design and build applications with the right technical solution to meet business needs, specifically operating and managing large complex corporate applications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with software development, including writing enterprise grade software for large, complex applications
- 5+ years of experience in a software development leadership role responsible for directing, reviewing, and leading a team of software engineers
- 5+ years of experience with software development and engineering practices, including Agile development and managing work using JIRA
- 5+ years of experience in project and technical management
- 5+ years of experience with application integration using APIs or web application development using React, Node.js, C, Java, or SQL
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge using Git, Jenkins, or Maven
- Experience with No-Code/Low-Code platforms such as Power Platform, Appian, OutSystems, and Service Now
Responsibilities
- Lead a team that designs, develops, and implements custom solutions for software projects across tools, technologies, vendors, or between organizations
- Lead software development engineers to design and build internal systems using an agile framework
- Plan, organize, and lead projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion
- Design and build new solutions for the Enterprise Organization (EO)
- Collaborate across multiple technical groups
- Take a proactive, critical thinking approach to overcoming requirements and design challenges
- Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to broad audiences
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Information Technology field
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within this facility
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to broad audiences
- Ability to take a proactive, critical thinking approach to overcoming requirements and design challenges
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
