Requirements
- 3 years relevant experience in Cisco networking.
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), R&S or equivalent skills (Routing/Switching).
- Be experienced delivering Cisco standard methodologies within our customer's infrastructure.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to guide teams made up of Cisco, Customer and Partner members in the analysis and resolution of network problems.
- Ability to provide high-level crisis management through anticipation of issues, problems or events and actively resolving them with the Customer and Partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to solve technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Build customer deliverable documentation including bug scrubs, PSIRTS and Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) for the entire network portfolio.
- Drive the effort to transform our current and future network architecture for our customers.
- Advocate for innovation for our customer and as a liaison, share what is coming with our customers to help them be the groundbreakers of technology.
- Combine the power of Cisco Analytics and Knowledge with the outstanding technical expertise and consulting to drive value, innovation, and adoption in our customer's network.
- Help them to reduce risk, drive innovation, and enhance their network to meet business objectives.
- Be the customer's trusted advisor and expert, helping them understand their network, reduce risks, and take advantage of the technology.
Other
- Must live within commuting distance and be able to work onsite 4 days per week in the Herndon, VA area.
- Leverage good communication, consulting and customer relationship skills to create productive collaborations.
- The successful applicant will be performing work on US Government classified environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
- This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.
- The successful applicant must have a current US Government TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
