Requirements
- Strong Tableau skills (dashboard design, calculated fields, parameters, level of detail (LOD) expressions, performance optimization)
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, including MS SQL Server and Oracle database
- Experience identifying patterns and trends with datasets
- Solid understanding of data modeling, KPIs, and metrics
- Experience with Python, R, or other statistical/analytics tools
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI)
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources through writing SQL queries and integrating 3rd Party data sources
- Optimize SQL queries, data sources, and dashboards to improve performance and ensure fast response times, especially for large volumes of data
- Competency in using advanced calculations, statistical functions, level of detail (LOD) expressions and table calculations
- Ability to create parameters, user controls, and worksheet actions
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and reports using customer feedback
- Analyze data trends, patterns, and key metrics to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and deliver insights
