Lumafield needs to develop and refine algorithms and automations for their Voyager data processing pipeline to provide manufacturers with inspection and analysis capabilities, ultimately revolutionizing product creation, manufacturing, and usage.
Requirements
- Comfortable in Python and typical scientific computing packages (Pandas, Numpy, Scipy)
- Experience with computer vision imaging, or spatial data workflows (e.g. point clouds, meshes, voxels)
- Background in engineering, physics, or applied sciences
- Experience with experiment design and data science
Responsibilities
- Design and run experiments to characterize new algorithms and automations in Voyager’s data processing pipeline
- Harden algorithms and prepare them for production release
- Develop a deep understanding of image and CT data quality
- Build and curate a library of test scans that highlight real customer challenges
- Work with product managers to define acceptance criteria for performance tests
- Build automated test harnesses for algorithms and ML models
Other
- Bachelors in CS, Engineering, or a related field
- Independent, curious, and detail-oriented
- Have a scientific mindset and run clean experiments
- Are comfortable iterating and refining a prototype
- Have excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills and are known for the quality of your work
