Requirements
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience with planning, implementation, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information
- Experience assessing system vulnerabilities for security risks and proposing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
- Ability to respond to computer security breaches and viruses
- Splunk Certifications
- Microsoft Sentinel (P) Certification
Responsibilities
- help customers solve problems using the latest software like Splunk and Sentinel
- Using threat monitoring, you’ll work alongside multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations
- You’ll monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary
- impact law enforcement by monitoring the network environment for new and evolving threats
- planning, implementation, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information
- assessing system vulnerabilities for security risks and proposing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
- respond to computer security breaches and viruses
Other
- 5+ years of experience in an IT or cybersecurity
- Experience in a SOC
- Ability to direct and control activities for a client, including overall responsibility for management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met
- Top Secret clearance
- GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) Certification, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) Certification, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) Certification, or GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) Certification
