RTX Corporation is looking to solve challenging problems in electromagnetic warfare (EW), communications, cybersecurity, cyberspace operations, networking, and RF domains for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers
Requirements
- Programming skills using one or more of: C/C++, Python, or equivalent languages
- Coursework and/or experience designing, developing, modifying, and debugging software or hardware systems or prototypes, with concrete examples of coding projects
- Familiarity with security concepts (confidentiality/integrity/availability, authentication/authorization, etc.)
- Experience building software for embedded devices and consumer electronics (e.g. ARM, Arduino/Raspberry Pi, Linux, Windows OS, Android, iOS)
- Understanding of OS internals (e.g., Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android)
Responsibilities
- Develop next-generation Cyber and EW capabilities
- Analyze computers, networks, and signals to understand how they work and how to break them
- Develop new and advanced security techniques in embedded, Internet of Things, and traditional systems
- Create or investigate new types of cyber physical systems
- Disassemble and analyze binary code
Other
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- Position may require some amount of overnight travel
- Candidates must reside or relocate within commuting distance of Columbia, MD
