Peraton is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to support the Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) in addressing operational risk, modeling, and simulations for intelligence, cyberspace operations, and strategic engagement policy.
Requirements
- Must be familiar with systems engineering, operations research, and object-oriented software coding experience (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB)
- Must have familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML, and modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
- Must have familiarity with analysis and creation of custom metrics within a discrete event simulator framework like AFSIM
- Must have an in-depth understanding of Defensive Cyberspace Operations
- Must be able to perform analysis with post-processing software (such as Python, R, Excel, etc.)
- Must have quantitative experience and/or education (e.g., mathematics, statistics, etc.)
- Must be able to provide quantitative/qualitative answers to challenging, cyberspace systems-focused questions
Responsibilities
- Devise the modeling and measuring techniques to investigate complex issues and solve problems -- develop and execute experimentation, models, and simulations
- Assist in addressing requirements and the evaluation of data assessment strategies: sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management assessment strategies
- Develop strategies to forecast risk across assets, missions, tasks, area of operations, and other identified boundaries
- Develop metrics, trend analysis, and other continuous assessments to monitor and assess the health and status of cyber terrain
- Provide reporting of analyses and continuous assessments via Risk Dashboard/Risk Scorecard
- Provide trend analysis reports as weekly, monthly, and quarterly rollups
- Provide risk, mitigations, COAs, and recommendations for added resources
Other
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider HS with 16+ years experience
- U.S Citizenship required
- Active DOD TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Able to work periodically on shift to assist the team
