L3Harris is seeking to hire a Cyber Security Intern to assist with Tier 1 Security Posture, Incident Detection and Reporting, monitoring security events, performing historical analysis of logs, producing reports, troubleshooting VPN sessions, handling customer calls, and applying baseline security configurations to network equipment.
Requirements
- Information Security experience
- Security+ Certification or equivalent certification
- Understanding of system vulnerabilities and exploitation
- Understanding of vulnerability mitigation
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Tier 1 Security Posture, Incident Detection and Reporting
- Monitors security events to identify anomalies and possible incidents within the network
- Performs historical analysis of logs associated with security events
- Produces well-written reports outlining incident and potential mitigation
- Work with other teams to troubleshoot VPN sessions / issues
- Handles phone calls from customer
- Applies baseline security configurations to network equipment
Other
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or Cyber/Information Security or related field, regardless of age
