Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Cyber Software Intern to support software engineers with software-related projects, brainstorm innovative ideas for new projects, and debug and troubleshoot existing and current software projects.
Requirements
- Software Development and coding in a general purpose programming language such as (C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby)
- Expertise in one or more of the following Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Mac, Windows, Android, iOS.
- Hands-on experience developing software using Configuration Management Tools (e.g., Git, SVN, TFS).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Proficient in Cyber security.
Responsibilities
- Support software engineers with software related projects
- Brainstorm with others on innovative ideas for new projects
- Debug and troubleshoot existing and current software projects.
Other
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Must be local to Denver, CO.
- Currently enrolled in a Masters or Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
