Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Software Engineering Manager 2 to lead and manage a team of cyber and network engineers, focusing on team leadership, technical performance, and program execution.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role on a project
- Exposure to all aspects of the cyber and network engineering process, from requirements analysis through verification testing
- High proficiency in technical problem solving, including decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring
- Active TS/SCI w/poly (preferred)
- Masters' degree in a relevant technical or management specialty (preferred)
- U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Top Secret and Special Access clearances may be required for this position
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university
Responsibilities
- Oversight and addressing of cost, schedule, and technical quality for development efforts
- Functional oversight of approximately 10 cyber and network engineers of varied disciplines working multiple programs
- Staffing and workload forecasts; support and adherence to standard processes; lessons learned; and employee engagement, mentoring and career development
- Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, and contract maintenance for the contractors working in the business area
- Collaboration across the site business areas as required to accomplish the team goals
- Work closely with Managers of other engineering disciplines, and Program Managers
- Team technical performance and program execution

- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience; 6 years of related experience with Master's degree, 4 years of related experience with PhD
