Peraton is seeking a Cyber System Engineer to act as a lead security designer and provide expertise in all areas of cybersecurity, ensuring the security and compliance of systems and architectures.

- Experience with designing cybersecuirty strategies
- Experience with vulnerability scans
Responsibilities
- Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of a DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments.
- Ensures that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure.
- Designs for program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.
- Directing the cybersecurity and IA teams in the delivery of information security, information security systems, and/or computer security requirements.
- Assessing system security.
- Performing vulnerability scans.
Other
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Must be a US Citizen
- Able to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Must have 8570 cert
