The company is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the security of its Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems by developing and implementing secure products across its Lines of Business.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC)
  • Implementing System Security requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting validation and verification of security requirements on DoD systems
  • Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date
  • Experience developing embedded DoD National Security Systems (NSS) requiring Systems Security Engineering implementations
  • Design experience through the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC) developing embedded system security solutions for DoD weapon or tactical systems
  • Experience with embedded system vulnerability scanning and Software Assurance (SwA) activities

Responsibilities

  • Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle
  • Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for embedded Weapon Systems
  • Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software
  • Verifying implementation of system security requirements
  • Designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining state of the art System Security architectures and countermeasures
  • Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs
  • Prototyping and testing System Security countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks

  • Must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to beginning employment, and then obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance while employed
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
  • 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week schedule
