The Central Plateau Cleanup Company needs a Cybersecurity Business Analyst to support management for Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity related tasks and reduce risks on the Hanford Site.
Requirements
- Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements or similar
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience with DOE Order 205.1B or DOE Order 205.1C, Department of Energy Cybersecurity Program and NIST SP 800-82, Rev. 2, Guide to Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security requirements
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Project Security Officer for CPCCo interfacing with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and cybersecurity team at Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS).
- Support CPCCo organizations with cybersecurity audits, assessments, data calls, investigations, and incidents as needed.
- Lead development of Policies, Procedures, and other documentation in support of Department of Energy (DOE) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements for Federal Information Systems.
- Provide IT support to CPCCo Industrial Control System (ICS) owners with system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and new deployments.
- Coordinate efforts with CPCCo ICS owners and HMIS ISSO to document Risk Assessments and mitigation strategies to prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, or modification of the Information System.
- Represent the Information Management department during company initiatives and projects that include, or would benefit from, software and technology solutions.
- Lead CPCCo efforts in the successful and timely completion of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Emergency Directives (ED).

- Career Level Grade 16: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Career Level Grade 17: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- 8 or more years in Cybersecurity and Information Technology fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and strong negotiating skills
