Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Cybersecurity Intern to learn the fundamentals of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and support cybersecurity tasks.
Requirements
Must have a current Comp TIA Security+ Certificate
Fundamental understanding of cyber threats
Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals such as firewalls, encryption, and malware detection, or related
Fundamental understanding of cyber attacks, and vulnerabilities.
Fundamental understanding of system security architecture and design principles.
Fundamental understanding of risk management.
Experience in system configuration, hardening, security analysis, and vulnerability management.
Responsibilities
learn the fundamentals of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) in daily cybersecurity tasks
document, assess, and validate fundamental cybersecurity controls
meaningfully engage in assigned working tasks
Other
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology, or related from an accredited college.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
This is an onsite position located at the Lockheed Martin Valley Forge, PA campus.
